How can I tell the sex of my silver dollars. They are about 3"

Male has red on it's anal fin.

I saw your other thread regarding they are in the Tetra family. I'm not sure. They are in the same family as Piranha though, then the Piranha is in the same family as Tetras and Hatchets. Interesting!

Good morning. Male Silver $'s have a rounded anal fin. The female's anal fin continues in a straight line from the vent to the tip of the fin. Hope this helps you and good luck. (You can't always count on sexing by the red on their fins).
