My Cherry Barbs are breeding - help?

Hello, everyone! I'm a relative beginner and I love the forum. Last week I found several cherry barb fry in my tank. They're so cute - I'll try to post a photo of the biggest one, which I've named Tess (because she's "hardy"). I also have 3 more smaller ones. Now, here's my problem. I have a 12 gallon tank with 2 male and 1 female cherry barbs, 3 harlequin rasboras, 3 neon tetras, and 2 guppies, and now the 4 cherry barb fry. Last night, the cherry barbs were super active - the males chasing the female and the female darting in and out of the plants. This morning, I see a lot of threadlike strands with lumps on the plants. I'll try to post a photo of one of them. Are these cherry barb eggs? I'm worried, because my tank is already at capacity (don't you think?) and I wasn't planning to get another tank. If they are eggs, should I remove them before they hatch so I don't get another batch of fry? And is there a way to keep the fish from breeding in the future? That sounds like a silly question and it probably is, but I figured I'd ask the experts. Thanks, everyone!

That's a first. I heard of many people trying to stimulate spawning but not the opposite. lol.
As far as thead like, dont know for sure (may be algae/plants) but Dont think it is barb's eggs though. Raise them and donate/sell to local hobbyists when and if possible.

Here's a better picture of Tess that I just took. She's a little over 1/4 of an inch now.
