Today i just bought two of them, and one is pretty big..
i mean, FAT! is it pregnant? i sitll cannot find the difference between the "fins that tell their sex"
both look like they have the same fins..but i'm not sure...help?

hi tamara does she have a black patch by her anal fin this is called the gravid spot if she has this and it is pretty large then she is close to giving birth lol

Hey tamara!You should look for the article called "Sexing Livebearers" in the important topics in the Breeding Fish Section. An easy way to sex guppies are by their color. Males are colorful while females are not.

Sexing Guppies is easy--the males have big, beautiful fins, while the females have smaller and plainer finnage.
Do you have two females, or is one of the Guppies a male? Because if one is, he will constantly chase and pester the female, which is very stressful. If that is the case, you can just get another female, so the male will have to divide his attentions.

hmm yeah.. Omorrokh is right.. it is a big problem with the livebearers. They constantly keep chasing the females.. around..
