pregnant guppy?

i am pretty sure my newly bought female guppy is pregnant but im not sure(new to breeding) she is pretty big and the male guppies dont follow her around. does that mean anything? i can post some pics of her if that would help, i need to know when the babies will be born so i can get enough money to get another tank for them so they dont die. please help me!

First just buy a breeder trap,(they're really cheap), and put her in there. When she gives birth the fry will be safe and you can remove her into the tank. The fry will be fine in the trap for at least 2 weeks

but i dont want her to get stressed out or stuckin there if she isnt going to give birth any time soon. ill try to get pics tomorrow

It's practically impossible to tell when she'll give birth even with pics. I look for decreased activity, not feeding and a BIG belly with my Platys, then they go in the trap. This is only a guideline though. I've got one of my females in a trap now, if she doesn't give birth after being in there for a few hours I'll release her back into the tank. It doesn't really bother them.

she still eats alot and is pretty active but ill post a pic whan i can to make sure she is pregnant.
