So much for sleeping...

I have 2 guppies giving birth as we speak...cant wait to see what these guys look like. I know I could go to sleep but I like to see the magic happen haha.

How exciting..I wouldn't be able to sleep either. That would be so neat to witness.

If you want to have babies I would make sure your water conditions are in check first...Your information says you have 0 nitrates??

Guppies are the easiest fish (in my opinion) to be able to tell when they are pregnant. If they have a dark spot (gravid spot) right behind their belly then they are pregnant. My guppies bellies get HUGE right before they are about to drop the fry. Final count...I think haha...is 22 fry. This was the first drop for both these girls so not too bad. Everyone is swimming and healthy.

Aren't livebearers always pregnant therefore easy to breed?
