I have polit fry!! um, update and, rt hongi!!!

My polit female spit last night! There aren't many, just about 10 or so. Its her first batch. I am so proud of her! They are really good sized fry too! I went to lift the rocks in the tank to check on her and found the fry instead, so I got her out and fed her good and she is in re-coop mode today from the holding period she wouldn't eat or anything the whole time. I kept walking w/ her in the holding container to the other tank saying good girl!! Im so proud of you! She actually spit and didn't eat her fry (of coarse that tank is heavily planted, and has a ton of rocks and hiding spots for fry).
I will def be using that tank over and over for my mommas.

I am so excited though! I have polit fry for the first time, I went to do my water changes and noticed my female rt hongi was acting weird in her tank, she was turning sidways w/ her mouth under a rock, and sure enough their was fry in there!! (only 12 in that batch, once again though that was that females first ever batch)

I now have 2 new species of mbuna to raise!!

Congrats. Polits are awesome. The smaller species of mbuna seem to have less fry in general. I can't wait til all mine grow up and we start having fry to raise again.
