angelfish behavior

ok so im pretty sure my angels are mating for the first time now (i dont breed fish, just happen to have 2 angels that ended up being opposite sex and they paired) and i noticed little yellowish specks in the corner of my tank on the glass which im pretty sure are eggs and the angels are over there being protective and all but i noticed the amount of eggs is getting smaller by the hour. i finally caught the female eating them. is this normal? is it maybe because this is their first time and maybe they dont know whats going on? oh yea, also, they are in a community tank with several other fish. if theres anything else i left out just let me know. just really curious as to whats going on because i've never heard of angels eating their own eggs. thanks for any info.

they certainly do..more often than not unfortunately...ive read here it sometimes takes many batches for them to get the hang of it..ive also read that if they fear some other fish might eat them or threaten them, they will eat them first...wish I could remember what thread that was LOL ...what other fish are in there?? got pics of your angels? WE LOVE pics

actually i still havent found my digi cam since i moved last month and im not sure how good the quality would be from my camera phone but i will try it out and see. i do happen to think i have some pretty decent lookin fish in my opinion. my favorites are my 2 angels, my 2 blue rams (made the fish store guy pick out the best lookin male and female), and my clown loach (the only surviving loach from my move the other 2 died so he's all thats left of the 3 amigos). other than that i have a couple boesemani's and a dwarf neon rainbow, a few tetras, and a couple mollies (1 dalmatian, 1 creamcicle). is there somewhere specific i should post pics or just on my profile?

ok here are a couple pics of my angels and a pic of 1 of my blue rams (the male) and a pic of my old angel before he died sorry bout the quality but my camera phone kinda sucks and has the longest delay which makes it even harder to get a shot of a moving target
