Tiger barbs are an egg scatterers. You want to create places where the eggs can fall and not be able to be eaten. You want to provide a high protien food, live is best. brine shrimp would work great. Then I find that if you 'make rain' it usually gets fish to breed. basically go to the dollar store and get a plastic watering container that is ment for fish only then, whenever you do your water change, drizzle the water in from the water container.

I find that if you raise the water temp by about 4 degrees it helps too. Make sure you have a place for the eggs to fall where the adults cant get them. Barbs are notorius for eating their own eggs
