Angels pics
The other day Fred & Wilma, our angel pair, spawned and I was able to get a few pics without bothering them. While I was at it, I got pics of the angel fry from the previous spawning in their tank.

They are cute little ones and I'll have to take new pics of them soon. They've lost the transparency now and are just starting to develop the Angel shape. Why do they have to be so cute - going to be hard selling them.

How did I miss this thread Isn't it amazing how single minded they are when their spawning! Angel babies are cute and I agree it's sure hard to get rid of them

I so love them...im still having issues with mine...water parimeters are perfect...but seems if I add any new angels, eventually one newbie gets secluded, even tho I dont THINK I have a mating pair, and it dies eventaully from being alone ...I even lost curly, one of my big angels......so ive not gotten more and hoping the rest are ok...grrr those fish have my heart!

I feed the babies BBS until they're big enough to eat the tiniest blood worms.

They're doing really good. Do you keep a light on the eggs at night? I found a tip to use a night light so that they won't forget the eggs are theirs. Those blue LED night lights are great and give a nice moonlight-type of tank lighting. Since we've done that, they haven't been eating the eggs. They're still learning and I had to pull the last batch of wigglers when Wilma decided they needed to be moved - to the filter intake tube. Took about 80 or so at least out. When we get our tanks setup at the new apartment, I'll get new pics of them to post.

Yea, our little Pebbles is showing so much angel fish character already. Swims up to me looking for a treat, she got pretty miffed when I added the little angel babies to her tank and did the "I'm upset" dance her dad does. Even the little ones are starting to learn to come up for food. You gotta love them, huh?
