Now that's a lot of Fry...

I have bred lots of different Cichlids but I can honestly say
that none have been more prolific or protective than my
pair of Jaguar Cichlids.
Here's a few pics that will show how prolific they are...

Well to be honest Shawnie this pair of Jags spawn every
3/4 weeks so it is imposible to find outlets for them all.
The LFS do trade some, and I send some to England.
but most become lunch for my other Cichlids, although
I only feed them live food now and then.
at least I know the source of the fry and that they
are disease free, and won't harm my other fish.

so very true...I dont give my oscars and JD's live food cause I just dont trust feeders from LFS's ...im sure they miss it alo

Thanks Kate they probably have around 1,500 each spawn.

Well, such gorgeous, healthy fish are liable to produce a healthy group of spawn. Lucky you.
