I have mystery fry...
in my 15g TALL tank. This has been used as a QT. Just about a month ago I had the breeding trio of cory sterbai in there and after they laid put them back in the main tank and left the eggs to hatch in the 15. I had some wigglers after a week but wasn't able to save them all cause they all just disappeared. So I decided to put some bn fry in there for about a month then I decided to get rid of it cause it's a tall tank and is not really suitable for the breeding cories. So to make my looong story short, I was cleaning out the tank the other day and as the water is right down the bottom of the tank, I noticed some really hard-to-see fry. Thought at first, it's cories so I grab a magnifying glass to make sure but to my surprise, it's tiny fishes not cories. And there was about a dozen of them and I sure it's all fishes as they are swimming everywhere. They look like guppies only way smaller. I know they're not guppies as I don't have no more guppies for at almost a year now and they are way smaller than guppies.
Question is what kind of fish is it? Is it possible they're guppies?
The size of the fish is the smallest I've ever seen, about 1/4" with a see-thru body and only a tiny white dot on it's belly that I could see. I am really clueless on what it could be. I hope I'll manage to save them just to see what they are. Sorry no pix as they are too tiny to take pix.
