Well, since ours laid the eggs on the heater, I carefully slid it to the one side of the tank and used the heater I put in (since their regular one is unplugged) to let me stick a regular big fish net in the corner. The running heater keeps the net in place. I'm hoping this will help me catch the wigglers if we get them.
If the heater they laid eggs on weren't so long, i'd have put it in a breeder net and hung that on the side of the tank but no way to keep the eggs submerged on the heater in one of those.
