Guppy who thinks he's a swordtail

I got an orange male guppy and all he does is hang around my orange swordtails and try to mate with my female. Ive got a female blue guppy but he hardly pays any attention to her. Is he just an idiot or confused with the colours?

I have the same problem as u I would let nature be and u never kno u could have diffrent breed of fish.

Yeah I guess so, my male swordtail really hates him so he keeps him away sometimes

I`ve had the same problem two. I had a royal blue male guppy who had the hots for a female swordtail. Everywhere she went, he went too. This went on for about 2 months, but he couldn`t get his wicked way with her. He died not long after, with a broken heart I think!
