I got baby

Well after what seemed like forever Big momma had her fry.

The drop tank is in our bedroom and I feel asleep around 12am midnite. I woke up at 3:30am to go to the bathroom and there were little ones swimming all over. She has not dropped another and after about 2 hour started to get that oooo look swiming munchies so she went into the tank with the other Female and is doing well.

All and all I have 30 fry from this drop I ground up some flake food and they seem to be eating it. I will grind up some baby brine shrimp a little later and feed them.

Not sure if mom ate any but for the 2 almost 3 hours she was in the tank with them she seemed to make no effort to eat them but then again when she turned the fry went the other way so not sure if she even got the chance but atleast its nice to know I will have atleast a few hours to get the fry out or her out when she drops again.

Thanks for all the info and I will get some pics up soon.

Watch for more fry over the next 3-4 days. They usually drop a few after the initial drop.

Guppies sorry fancy ones.

On guppies.com they think based on the pick the female is 3/4 black moscow

I just know she the biggest fish I own and she is all black aside form her belly.

As far as more dropping in the next few days thats cool they will have to fend for themselves I got 30 I need to worry about. If i see more fry in her new tank I will try and move them.

Also a side note my other female is about a week pregers so it looks like I will stat having 2 drops a week apart from 2 different females.

Sounds like you'll have 100s of them in a couple months at that rate.

Ended with 50 from this drop.

I got homes for them all I plan on keeping 1 or 2 males depending on coloring and 4 Female to got with the 2 I have already.

These things are pritty cool. They have already changed from yesterday. When they were born I had sets of poppy seeds in the tank today you can tell they are fish still have to look close but this is way cool.
