I am moving her to a holding tank one way or another (buying one this weekend)... Anyways... I need advice! Feeding the fry when she releases them, water changes, care, when do I move her? Do I need to put her into a holding tank instead of the main tank until she regains her strenth from not eating? All advice is welcome!! (Allie, I know your the cichlid pro!)

BTW, She was holding eggs I noticed on sunday of this past weekend, so three weeks would make May the 11th she would release? She def was not holding on Sat unless I missed something... I came home from work at 7p and saw her w/ the "big mouth"...

BTW is it normal for the male to act strange after the event? He has been digging up a storm, he has a tunnel through the rocks on the whole right side of the tank, its actually really cool... then as hes done digging for a bit he swims around "proudly" in the tank and dives back into his rocks and digs more... He even showed of to me watching the tank he dove down in his little burrow and started spitting his rocks out here and there...

Finely ground fish flakes would probably be good food for fry. Also check out articles about breeding fish. That may help.
