3 weeks already. People have started buying the first batch, plus we gave some to friends. The first batch didn't look like all pure acei. Some had stripes So we thought we'd better just sell the second batch to our lfs.
Another male could have gotten in with the mix...probably Mr. Msobo. Good thing he is at a new home.

How cute.. now my kenyi is holding I came home to see this (its the first time I have seen a cichlid holding in real life its soo cool!!) .. I am really curious.. how many do they usually have in a batch?? I need to be making plans for these little ones... I know she did mate w/ my male kenyi they have paired up really nicely... I am sure the lfs will buy these little ones..

It really all depends on the size of the female. We've gotten 25 out of yellow labs and 63+ fry out of our acei females. Our cobalt zebras are really small so they may have like 10.
