My angels did it again! (pics)
My mating pair of angelfish laid eggs weeks ago and those fry are currently growing up in a 10 gallon tank. Today, just before I added some upside-down catfish, they spawned again.
Here are a few pictures of them guarding their eggs.

Thanks. I doubt I'll ever be able to find another pair as beautiful as this one. Their first batch of fry are starting to take on their angel forms and will soon be the size of a dime and then I can sell them to a local pet store. And the current batch of eggs, have hatched today and are in their wiggler stage!

Yep. I moved the first batch of fry after about a week with their parents. At first, I took them and placed them in a breeder box I had in their tank. Then, when it was ready, I moved them to my cycled 10 gallon tank with no substrate. That's where they've been for a couple weeks now. This time, I think I am going to leave the fry in with the parents for a couple weeks. I covered the filter intake with some brine shrimp netting so it should be fine as long as I take them out before they're 5 weeks old and I plan to remove them well before then. If they're with their parents around weeks 5-6, they start to eat their skin and fins which weakens and ultimately kills them.

I saw your other post, but thanks for the explanation. You do have a lovely breeding pair, and exceptional if you can leave the fry with them.....you are lucky..

These are the best shots of their first fry I could get at the moment. More of them and some of the wigglers to come:
The only advice I could give is what I've read and have followed that has worked for me. Remove them from their parents within a month. Don't stick to a breeder box as that could stunt growth, set up a 10 gallon grow-out tank and transfer them there. Feed baby brine shrimp 3-4 times daily and do a daily water change as they are sensitive to everything at this stage.

I think my super veil comb tail gold marbles are getting ready to lay eggs.
I have 2 gold marble angels and they are constantly pecking and cleaning a surface in my tank and are highly protective of the area, are they doing what I think they are doing? I noticed that their sexual organs are more noticable now and read a lil and believe that they are preparing. If you have some info for me I would appreciate it. Heres a pic or some pics of them.
