Our female Kenyi is ready to spawn.... loads of questions!

She has dug a nest and is going crazy in the tank..... none of the fish are from the same species in our african mbuna tank except for the red zebra and the ob zebra being remotely close....
The kenyi has been "dancing" with what we know to be a male mel aurartus (sp) she has her side of the tank and is even "hugging" rocks when he is around.... and doing a shake and shimmy... (so is he)... I know that it will be some strange hybrid cichlid if they do mate.... is it possible?

Yup any Malawi cichlids can breed together. If you don't want to keep just let her release them in the main tank.
