Corydoras breeding

My question to my corydorases two months ago, last month, and today...
"ok, is this going to become like a regular thing with you guys?"

what i mean is the darn things never quit laying eggs. stupid question, but i'll ask anyway...can i make it stop?

I don't know how to make it stop, but you could always let the other fish eat the fry. Is it the room to put the babies that is the problem?

No LFS's will take the fry?

Hi!! I have a breeding trio of cories in my community tank that regularly lays eggs. If I leave them in the community tank, the eggs will just get eaten although I have 3 that survived (out of the 1000+ eggs being laid for a few times).

Do you have any babies now and how many?

Your lfs will usually take them with an open arms, so I would try to inquire about it. Granted you'll probably only get a store credit but hey, that'll help.

actually, im just getting annoyed because not only do they do it all the time, the eggs are usually eaten, are infertile, or hatch prematurely. so i dont get to take my course of being an "uncle". But i do have room, it's just that both my tanks are stocked. Can i use something other than a tank?

You could use a bucket or rubbermaid storage container with a sponge filter and 25w heater in it, along with frequent water changes to raise them in.

I use the last two on the page. They are really great for fry.
