She called me tonight asking me about her baby betta fry. They are 2 weeks old and this time she is doing the water changes, and running the filter covered w/ netting to protect the fry from being sucked up...
Anyways she said they are ganging up in groups? She was wondering what that meant?
When does she start feeding the baby brine shrimp (I bought her some to get her started) plus when does she need to separate the babies?

I'm not sure, but I know that when the male bettas start showing that they are males (grow a little fin), that they flare and show off a lot. it could be a large tank reaction to one that flares here, another flares there, everyone zips around, stays in groups... this is a total guess.. I will try to look into it more.

I've only bred wild Bettas since we don't have the space, time or money for a splendens breeding so I'm not sure of their behavior at 2 weeks, but the fry can be fed bbs from as soon as they start eating.
