Got me a baby guppy. he's(?) about a half inch long and he's the lone survivor and is currently in his own tank alone. I want to put him in the main tank with Mamma and Goldy but everytime I try, they go after him like bait. How big should i let him get before he can join the others safely?

Atleast a few months, big enough so he cannot fit in their mouths.

Thanks!! Will he be OK by himself? I've heard that guppies are school fish.

Gups do better with 3 or more, but he's at least not a swimming snack and can go in with other fish once he gets big enough to not fit in their mouths.
