Wow. Obviously you won't know. An otto is a catfish. Otto is short otocinclus(sp?). It is a suckeermouth cat to be more specific. I have no idea about how to breed them much less how to raise fry.

I would suggest taking the fry out and either putting them in a small tank(1-5 gallons) by themselves barebottom. Or putting them in a breeder net in the main tank. The fry eat algae so if there was a way to promote algae growth on something and put it in with the fry that would be good. If not you can purcahse algae discs and put them in there. Also fresh veggies might work. And crushed flake.

Good luck. If you leave them in there for long the guppies WILL eat them. Nevermind i see they are in a seperate container.

Go buy a small 2 gallon tank from Walmart get a small heater and filter and your good to go. Feed algae discs, crushed flake, fresh veggies, and natural algae(on deco and walls).

Good luck and I hope they make it!

get a breeder box for your tank. i use Lee's. im not sure what to feed otto fry but i would guess to crush vegi flakes in a sandwitch bag and feed them a small pinch 3 times a day. you could also try to crush up an algae waffer. good luck and congrats!
if you dont want them, take them to a shop

congrats on the otto eggs. very exciting. I had cory eggs that i raised in a rubbermaid and I put a airstone in there and a heater. I fed them fry flakes and later algea discs and brine shrimp. good luck with them.

thanks

Thanks for the advice everybody!

I'm just suprised that They lay eggs 0.o

In all the pages about otto cats they say that breeding is rare and difficult so I must unconsciously be a fish expert haha
