corylover, not to be following you around the forums, but there's lots of bristlenose plecos at Riverfront aquariums....and Golds Aquariums usually has them too

how are they in price? I saw some small ones at Petland for $24 but the young guy there exchanged one for me for my lost $12 goldfish. he felt they were over priced for their size. were is Golds Aquariums and Riverfront by the way. I'm in the SW.

Golds is on 17th avenue in the SE....bay j 4710 17 ave sw to be exact. their website is www.cichlids.ca call them first

Riverfront is downtown by the 4th avenue flyover... riverfront.ca I think (google them) I think the most I payed for my albino bns from there was 14 dollars

petland charges more for their fish because they give a one month money back on the any dead fish. thats one reason I'm looking around. Petsmart had a bigger selection and they were cheaper but the girl I talked to didnt know much about fish. she had the males and females mixed up in the livebearers plus they only had common plecos. I'll try the other place you recommended. thanks.

those places that I mentioned have very knowledgable staff, and if they don't know they will tell you that they don't know and find out right away for you.

I've just custom ordered Datnoids from Golds Aquarium...anywhere else 30+ dollars a fish...3 inch babies from golds, 20 bucks.

Petland doesn't always honour the 30 day guarantee (trust me, I used to set up all the tanks for all the stores in calgary 5 years ago) and I only ever go in there on Tuesdays, but very rarely leave with a fish anyways.

Sold them all at the AAAA auction. All except 2 actually. Sold 40/42 for over 100 dollars. I was pretty excited that they did so well. =)

Cory, I needed to say "Well done" - I am impressed. Good for you, you have come an awful long way in a short time.

I tried to buy a BN in Duluth, they were $11.99...but sold out. I ended up with a clown pleco, named Morley, and he is pretty neat as well.

It is inspriational to follow your progress, Cory.

Thanks. We did pick up 3 albino longfinned BNs at the last fish club auction.. couldn't help ourselves... but we still would like that pair of your L107s. If you do find a local buyer and can make more on them though, we'd understand though.
