guppies

i just got two female guppies and a male guppy yesterday and today i got up and i looked at them closely and i think one female is pregnant but i dont know for sure how can i tell is there signs that she is pregnant. I read that when you by a guppy at the store most likely they are going to be pregnant is this true idk what to do i put the three guppies in my 35 gallon yesterday but then my blood parrot was chasing them so i put the 3 one male and 2 female in a 10 gallon tank alone with a lot of plants. and thats where they are right now. the other female might be pregnant too idk

You can only tell if a female is pregnant about a week into the pregnancy. You will realize that she is noticeably bigger.

they should stay happy in the 10g. wait 2 more weeks and check out that gavid spot on the female(LARGE BLACK TRIANGLE ON HER BUTT). and pay attention to her during feeding. she may eat food and spit it out, stay near the botton, or even near the heater. these are sure signs shes soon ready to give birth. i recomend you buy a Lees's Bredder Box. I have the same set up as you and this has always worked great! good luck!

by the way yes, most of the time females are pregant when u buy them since many stores will not take the time to seperate the females and the males

I would recommend a different tank for the gups really, they're not the best fish to have in with a blood parrot. Female gups that are stressed can abort a batch or hold them too long. The livebearers do best if they can just drop fry in their tank with hiding spots for the fry to swim to. Then you can move the fry to their own tank.
