A breeding net is like a soft box of netting that you can hang on the inside of an aquarium to isolate fry or fish from the tank population.

Yeah, but I would not recommend you use them because they dirty up the tank fast, all of the food the fry don't eat end up on the bottom of the net and unless you want to clean your net every time you feed them its not worth the hassle. This happened to me and it stressed my baby fry too much so they all ended up dying.

The best idea would be to just get a tank divider or a lot of floating plants, breeding grass, or a lot vegetation so the fry can hide.

Good luck!

I have one baby swordtail in one in my 10 gallon tank right now. I have a picture of it on my post of my 10 gallon if you want to see what it looks like. I feed the baby fish sparingly and so far, it has not caused my tank any problems, but that is probably because I only have one little guy in there. If you have a whole bunch of babies, you may want to consider a little 2.5 or 5 gallon tank to put them in. A divider would work as well.

I actually have better luck with having the mother have the babies in the tank and grabing them out w/ a small net. I make sure there are plenty of good hiding places so that the fry don't get eat up. When I use the breeding tank holders and nets it stresses the moms out way to much.
