Angelfish, are they pairing up?
This morning after I did a 50% water change, I sat down and observed the fish.
Suddently, I saw the marble angel and the gold marble angel were locking their jaws!
That right moment I jumped off the chair and ran to the tank...
I was very excited to see that happened, but at the same time I was worried to death that they would hurt themselves...(standing in front of the tank and mumbling "no...no...no....dont hurt yourself...no...no...)
Anyhow, they locked 3 times, and that's it, no more...
They sometimes still chase each other, but I don't see they swim together or anything else...
Does this mean they are not satisfied with each other?
I have 4 angel in this tank (including them two), could it be they are looking for another partner?
Is it true that only opposite sex angelfish will lock jaw?
