Hi, thanks for asking Don't have any new pics of her, but she's doing very well, all grown up and chubby like a plum! LOL Her tail is permanently deformed (it's split in the middle), but she doesn't seem to be in any trouble balancing herself and swimming. She's doing just fine . Though I'll never forgive Flourish for the split tail! If I have the time, I'll try to photograph her.

I enjoyed the thread, not seeing your anguish and sick fry, of course, but the great support you received from the members here...then a weird turn to wine and on to tea and back to your fry lol. I'm so glad she survived.

I also read with interest your thread with Seachem. Especially their last post to you "Well, in any case" hmmmm.

Not to dredge up the whys and how comes...but a theory came to mind. Isn't it possible, being she was in a net, the net 'captured' some flourish and she got a higher concentration of it than fry who might be swimming freely in a tank where it was well distributed? Thus, making you and Seachem correct?
Just a thought.

Lucy, you may be right (for all I know). Although the little breeding net's fabric is really soft and it seems to me that water circulation shouldn't be a problem in it. But now I'll never find out anyway ...
