| Congrats!
We've got krib fry and apple snail eggs here. But that's nowhere near as exciting as discus babies. |

| No idea whatsoever. I may try and keep as many as I can fit, and give some back to the breeder I got them from to "distribute". I would NOT sell them to the local pet shop! (unless they hire me! :P) |

| Really, why not? Are you scared they won't go to good homes? Perhaps you could e-bay or aquabid them? I know Tan B (one of our other members) does something like that with her guppy fry, and she hands over a caresheet ( DISCUS CARE SHEET).
On another note: CONGRATULATIONS! That is amazing. You are extremely lucky, and you have some really cute times ahead of you.
I wish you the best of luck on this project, it'll be awsome! Quote:

For some expert advice on the stages of development and anything else on the Discus for that matter, you may want to check out the site called SimplyDiscus.com in case you havent already, they are specifically Discus only and have some expert folks there that have gone thru breeding and raising Discus on a regular basis.
Good luck with your Discus! ~ kate |

| Well, they ate the eggs.... they should spawn again in the next few days though.
That's pretty typical for a first batch. |

| That's really interesting, Marc. I had no idea they often ate the first batch. That really susprised me for discus. Great that you're not taking it to heart. Can't wait til you have lots of baby discus! |

| That's pretty cool (though I'm sorry to hear they ate the fry). However, I've read up and that happens often with the first one or two spawns so no worries! In no time you'll have lots of baby Discus, so good luck with that! Discus are such beautiful fish and I'll very grateful if I'm ever able to keep any. |

| Well, the 1st pair laid more last night (as seen in the video I posted!) and now the 2nd pair is laying some. Waiting on my other possible pair tomorrow after I do my water change! (slightly colder water, big change - much like with breeding corydoras, it simulates the end of the dry season) |
