I filmed one of my females in a 2-way breeder. She is usually just chillin at the bottom of the tank and seems to be a lot fatter than the other female i have. can anyone tell me if she is pregnant for sure? I got her from someone who was giving them away after having a breeding explosion. She claimed they weren't pregnant, but im sure they were in a tank with males. Anyways, if she is pregnant, can anyone estimate how long until she gives birth?

If she has been a a tank that had males in it, she is pregnant.
Generally, gestation is 28-32 days.
However, they can hold off birth for longer than that if they feel conditions are not right.

I would put my money on her being a prego, she has a very boxy shape to her. I would guess about 1-2 weeks untill she gives birth, maybe less.

well no worries for baby guppies...mommy was dead this morning when I woke up. I have no idea what happened, all the other fish are doing fine. oh well. RIP

poor girl.. must've been some sort of pregnancy complications, sadly that happens with them sometimes. we're sorry that you lost her.
