Blue gourmai

Well i decided to breed gouramis. Blue and dwarfs in 30gallon tanks. Well i got more then i barganed for i got 1000's of fry in both tanks. hehe i mean they are like flea's on a dog just so many of them that came through the first breeding batch. hopefully they all live. The LFS's are amazed how many hatched the owners came and took a look and are going to buy them off me (the ones i dont keep) i got 75gallon tanks waiting for them to grow some so.

Re: Blue gourmai

soon as they all hatch and are visable to the eye its hard to see i use premade bubble nesting area's for them they seem to love them 24hrs are i made them they went to work. i see a few fry swimming now btw but they are so small hard to see. dont know how many will survive hopefully all them but with it being my first time breeding fish i got alot to learn.

Re: Blue gourmai

That should be alot of fun. Ive been meaning to set up a breeding tank, but I can never choose just one, so I always end up with communities.

That might be good choice badger if like them, come in beautiful colors and are very peaceful with great personailites. Make sure to get pics wodian once they hatch and get bigger would love to see them.

Wodian, I'm new to this forum as I'm in search of personal experiences from people who have succesfully spawned Gourami. How are the little guys doin'? What is the survival rate?
