Water temp and fry sex

Does anyone know if water temp effect the sex of fry? I have a tank of just guppies, and of course they breed like mad. But I have noticed that almost all the fry grow into females. Just wondering if that is a cause, or if there are any other theories out there. The tank is showing a temp of about 82 degrees.

There have been some studies suggesting that pH can affect guppy sex. There are some fish where the sex ratio has been proven to be affected by pH.

I do know guppys mature faster and bred more at higher temps.

hmm.. we have high pH here and all our platy fry (all 4 - not a healthy breeding at the pet store) are females.
