Clown fish bred* more pix*

Today when my bf was fixing up the SW tank...the clown fish were being extremely aggressive. So he moved the rock a bit..and there were a bunch of wigglers with eyes on a piece of lava rock. There were a lot of little babies.
Of course now that were selling the sw tank they decided to breed, lol.
Here's a bad pix...see the little eyes?

Awesome, congrats!
If you don't mind me asking, why are you selling the tank? (lol and where do you live? I'm always interested in getting another tank!)

Conrats. Why were you going to sell? What all did it include? How much? Is it pick-up only?

We are moving soon and my bf wanted a bigger salt water tank & species of fish that are too big for a 30g... but we have to wait to see where we end up...how much weight the place can hold etc...the tank is sold we're just waiting for the guy to come on the weekend.

I see. Still, very exciting! The only babies I have managed to have are guppies, and it seems like anyone and everyone can do that!

The funny part of the whole thing is the tank has only been set up 2 months...we've had our diamond tetra breed...only one baby tho, guppies, african cichlids and convicts (of course). I think there is something in our apartment or something...weird.

Wow, that's really lucky. I've heard of people trying to get them to breed for months and months.

It is lucky...but too bad it is happening now...they were all sold to a guy who has all the types of clowns in breeding pairs. If any of the babies make it & they should survive (he's been into them for years) he said he give us some after we move & get another tank set up...we do have a 10g that could be used for a bit.

Re: Clown fish bred* more pix*

Here are some more terrible pix...the parents wouldn't keep still. I think the camera made them nervous...being right in their faces & all.

They look great, again, congrats. But what I do to get the pics is I sit on the other side of the room and use the zoom on the camera so they don't feel as stressed with the camera that close to the tank. Try it and tell me what you think.

It depends how good of a zoom you have...mine is horrible. Any fish I have or had got use to the flash and closeness of the camera...they should..I have spend a good amount of time just snapping pixs until I get the perfect shot.

True enough...but I also have 4 cats that I am taking pictures of...I feel like I go to the bathroom with the camera in case the cats do something cute in there.
