Re: Getting Fry Out of a tank

i had to remove all my decor from my tank just to be able to find all of them and catch them...some of them are brave and swim with the rest and some hide...one of my guppys batches were brave..the others scared..

Re: Getting Fry Out of a tank

we've caught fry both ways and find the turkey baster to be best overall until they're too big to safely be sucked up.

I used my gravel vac once... that worked. But he swam his little fish butt off trying not to get sucked up.

Re: Getting Fry Out of a tank

I took out all decors from tank and carefully used net making tiny whirlpools to get them in net, took about 3 and half hours to round up all 69, quick little buggers and tremendous hiders even when on pebbles to hide in

yea, i guess it's necessary for species survival - they're tough to round up.

Yeah, I don't look forward to moving the shrimp I got from Dino out of quarantine. They're still tiny buggers, and I'm afraid that I'll kill them trying to catch them (if you've ever tried to catch amano shrimp, you know what I mean)
