Unless the plant(?) in the pic is really small, then the fry would still be pretty recent. But it doesn't look that way.

Re: fry!!!

livebearers can drop each batch of fry over 5 days or so, give or take. most come out with the initial drop and then it's like a few stragglers the other days.

Re: fry!!!

Grats on the fry! My platy just gave birth about 6-7 hours ago; I found 68 fry and moved them to their own tank; guessing she had in between 80-90; found a few were dead; and assuming I can't find some still, they are expert hiders. Her gravid spot is already completely gone, and does not look like gave birth earlier tonight at all. Also amazingly her stomach was very light colored, a yellowish-white, and its turning bright red again already. Their may be more fry in and under rocks try gently brushing fish net against rocks to make them move a little fry will swim out of hiding spot; took me over 3 hours to find and catch the fry I removed.

Re: fry!!!

The gravid spot won't go away Guppies can have four batches of fry, 28-30 days apart from one mating. They store sperm from each mating thats why they seem to be gravid all the time
