I found this:
Electric Yellows are not difficult to breed. Water should be changed and the level dropped. Males are larger, brighter colored and have more black on the fins. Males exhibit more aggressive behavior when ready to breed. They do not show egg spots, unlike most mbunas. It is best to breed one male with several females. Electric Yellows are mouth brooders. The female cares for 10 ? 25 eggs in her mouth. She also keeps the fry in her mouth for up to 3 weeks. The female should be isolated after breeding. The fry can be fed brine shrimp.

(learn that in "sex ed" at school)lol but then again but i wouldn't know from experinse beacuse i'm only 12!!!!! lol and i agree with the article dave posted thats pretty much how all malwai chiclids are sexed

ohh yer and once they spawn u should remove the eggs (always keep them under water) and put them in a seprate tank with a PH of about 7.4 lower than the traditional 8 for african chiclids so they can be kept with other chiclids if u keep them in those water conditions if u want to but thats ur deicision what to do with the fry
