welcome to fishlore. the fuzz on the eggs is fungus. you want to remove those eggs as carefully as you can. are the other eggs white or more clear?

Re: Why is there fuzz on my angelfish's eggs?

The fungus grows on eggs that are infertile. Infertile eggs are white while fertile ones are clear. It is important to remove infertile eggs before they fungus, because sometimes the fungus will spread to the fertile eggs. Definately remove all the eggs that have fungused to hopefully prevent it from spreading.

The eggs are all white and most of them has fungus. I think it might be too late to save them. Do you think they will lay more eggs?

i think they lay eggs every 2 weeks or so, but i'm not sure. sounds like that batch of eggs needs to be removed unfortunately.

http://www.drsfostersmith.com/produc...pc=1&N=0&Nty=1 - this is supposed to help keep the eggs from getting fungus as much. it dyes decor and all, so if you can move the eggs to a 'hatching container/tank' that you don't mind that in, you could add it to treated tap water and let the eggs hatch in there. just keep the eggs in water at all times.

Well I don't really know anything about Angel breeding, but I'm not sure if you can remove the eggs, cause don't the parents take care of them?

good question.. i'd probably put them back in after hatching or take out anything in the main tank i didn't want stained.

Re: Why is there fuzz on my angelfish's eggs?

Some angels are very good at taking care of their eggs and fry up to a point. If there are other fish in the tank and they make the parents nervous the parents may eat them or the other fish may eat them. Some times they eat the eggs the first couple of times anyway but they will get it right if given the chance.
after the fry are about two weeks old I always removed the fry if the eggs had been left with the parents because at that time the parents tend to forget their babies and they start looking like dinner.
The eggs can be removed and hatched in another tank but it's very labor intensive and time consuming.
Any eggs that are white or fuzzy should be removed immediately.
