I figured I'd post a couple pics of my blue destructors.

Oh, he's beautiful. What do you keep him with and what size tank?

I am a breeder, most of my tanks are 10 gallon bare bottom or rubbermaid containers on central systems.
I am not to concerned with how pretty the tanks are, I am mainly concerned with having very healthy crays.
I have a few pair of these varying from this color blue to a very dark cobalt blue like the one pictured here.

I breed several different crays throughout the year.

Glad you like them

They're gorgeous. The blue destructors what size tank do they need? I guess they'd try to eat just about ant small fish?

Just in my opinion, I would say a 30 long with a few hides would be the smallest for a pair of young 5 inch crays to live in full time as pets.
This would provide enough room to move around without fighting.
I feed them pieces of cut shrimp and algae flakes.
In the past, I have kept them with various dwarf shrimp without any problems.
I think they may try to eat small fish as any crayfish would, but if you feed them regularly, I do not think they would persist in catching one.
The easiest thing is to not keep fish with them or just put in fish you don't mind if you lose one.

I keep them seperated so there is no damage from fighting and it is easy to maintain them in 10 gallon tanks.

Very pretty. How do you raise your baby crays? I have heard that you have to separate them at a certain age.
