i'm not the king of advice but from what i've read here a 29 gallon tank is already to small for your pleco.

Yeah that tank is way to small for a pleco. I would say a 75 at the very least for a pleco. I think that with out the pleco it would work with the lobster, but I would have a backup just in case

Welcome to Fishlore.

You will need to get a larger tank for the Pleco pretty soon. They'll experience stunted growth and internal organ injury in a smaller tank. In a 75g or more, there's a good chance of him getting along with the lobster. The lobster might catch and eat the Platys though.

well, what type is it then? if you have the L number that would help. i read alot on 'lobsters' because i wanted one... but basically fish and plants don't do well with them, generally. shrimp are a good alternative tho.

I wouldn't mix a blue crayfish with any fish unless you want to worry about them being eaten. I would just set up a cool tank for the crayfish. With rocks wood, a cave. No plants. They will eat them.

Hi!

Your pleco may look small - but did you know he will grow to around 60cm long? That's why he needs a 75gal at least! I had difficulty convincing my frined her pair of plecos will outgrow her 25gal pretty soon...

Crayfish aren't good with any fish or plants.

good job you spelt pleco wrong, I read an old wives tale that if you spell it right its bad luck and then bang bye bye pleco thats why they are commonly talked about as pleco's...apparently.
