ok, so my gourami is ticking off my silver dollar. what fish can i get that is GUARANTEED to be friends with my gourami and not cause issues? i'm not looking for fish that MIGHT go well... i need a definite because i feel bad buying a fish and then having it tortured. i plan on buying 2 more silver dollars to give my current one some friends.

Your tank is too small for silver dollars and a gourami.
Gouramis can be aggressive especially in the wrong size tank.
I'd suggest getting a bigger tank or returning your fish.

thanks lucy. i think i will, because i have to go to petco anyway. so what should i get besides a silver dollar? maybe something small?

It depends on what size tank you get.
I'm pretty sure silver dollars like to be in groups.
It would be a good idea to cycle the new tank before adding anything.
