Well, I was just looking at my tank when I saw that my gourami was chasing my bloodfin tetra. The tetra has been with the gourami almost all her life and my gourami didn't do it before. Does anyone know why my gourami is doing this?

Patience.
Sometimes it takes some time for the right member to come along who can properly answer your question.
I can only suggest you move some decorations around, sometimes that'll throw them off a bit.
I'm sure someone will have more helpful info.

what kind of gourami is it? have you changed anything in the tank (i.e. has it finished the cycle with fish, have you increased or decreased the temperature, moved any decorations around, etc)? i had a betta with a few corycats and when i replaced my heater and got one that actually worked and kept the temp at a steady 78 she decided that she felt good enough to attack them ! luckily i had a 10 gal i could move them into.

also, how many fish and what types are in the tank? is this the 20 in your aquarium info?

Perhaps gourami has matured and claiming its territory or ready/wanting to spawn?

I think thats probably the reason. The tetra is intruding on its territory and it wants it out.
