Sadly I report the untimely passing of my 3 spot Gourami. He has been quarentined over the last few days, and the medication appeared to be working. Unfortunately he leaped from the Q. tank overnight. May the fish God's find a divine stream for him.
I will now make myself a cover for my QT, so this can never happen again.
Im very sorry to hear your lost your gouarmi. Sometimes we may think because we have a sick fish that it will not be as active as normal.Your little guy must have been feeling better to be able to jump out. Glad to hear you will get a cover for your QT. I know you would hate to see that happen again.

I had an accident a few weeks back where I was feeding some frozen brine shrimp
to some Juvies I spawned. I was using a steak knife to cut and dip, when one of the females leaped for the Brine Shrimp and point of the knife hit her in head knocking her silly. Needless to say she died the next day and I don't do that anymore.
You know,he probably saw you looking in at him,and decided to come out and look in for himself,to see what you saw....................Sorry he's gone,but now he will look in at you from time to time.
