Anyways my new betta Cosmo, i got him from a LPS just 2 days ago, he was in a 1 gallon tank with a female beside him, now he is in a 10 gallon tank and is as happy as can be(well atleast i hope)

Thanks SaMMy, hia name is now "Harley" love the sound of it. I think he like to actually have a name to be called other than "the betta". Here is a recent pic of him. I like this one.

how do you like him now? Hes colored up a lil bit more.

Hehe.. Here is Miyavi, my darlin betta. I kind of decorated his tank abit on the top so he will have some hiding spaces.

Very nice Danni - i can see the blue you mention in Isaac now too - well done on a great save, and Lily is a cutie.

Here are my new lot - female Rosibelle has the 10g after Toulie passed suddenly a while ago (still a mystery), my blue CT Spike is my boy in my new 5g (next to my computer, we watch each other as i post

), and Cam is my new VT in the 15g after Bett finally passed of old age last fortnight (he was almost 4 i think).

Hope you all like

Edit: you can see Skikes fins are clamped a bit from a rough acclimation - white slime on my new driftwood was the cause i'm sure - but some fungus meds and regular washing in Primed water cleared it

. So now while his fins are still a bit shredded, he has a LOT more red in his anal and ventrall fins now and the blue is wonderfully vibrant. Must take some new pics - but you can see it a bit in his tank shot.

Wasabi: was known as "Fish" for a decent amount of time. I've had him since...early November I believe. Most if not all of the pix of him are from before his "accident", I placed him in a divided 14g w/ a CT named Ginger, and, no lie, Wasabi ripped off his own fins. Destroyed himself. He's in his own tank (meaning Ginger has the 14g to himself, spoiled or what?) and it recovering fantastically. He is a DT HM, from what I've seen he's totally at 180 degrees. He's spunky and loves people, and will follow me around all the time. When I'm in my dorm his tank is next to my bed and he nestles into the plants right next to me.

Ginger: a punk if there ever was one. This guy has so much attitude I can't handle him sometimes. He loves to flare at EVERYTHING, especially my finger. While Wasabi will swim through my fingers, Ginger will bite them and chase them and flare. Both my babies have started building nests recently, and Ginger's built his right where he sleeps! (Wasabi made his in the corner and seems to ignore it unless I'm near it, which I think is weird.)

The dark blue boy is Pip and the pinkish blue crowntail is my most recent addition, Roi. Roi was having some tank maintenance done so not to worry betta lovers, that bowl is not his permanent home.

this is my new betta. he was the only one in the store that reacted when i looked at them. now he seems super happy to have a 10 gallon to himself.

the picture weas taken within an hour of him being home.

but one question... is it ok that he places himself against the filter and lets it softly suck his fins in?

Its me again

I wanted to share some pics of a beautiful double tailed halfmoon betta I found today by pure luck, I wasn't even looking for fish just comparing prices at different LFS, but when I saw this one I just couldn't leave him there!!! He still doesn't have a name lol, you can see how huge his fins are and he wasn't even flaring
