Here's more pictures of my beloved females (all in a different tank). I am REALLY going to have to start naming my fish as referring to them all as 'female betta' is getting really confusing at home.
1 - My first female. Here she is sharing a meal with her cory tankmates.
2 - My second female. She's still very young and sooo cute. She's got lovely blue eyes but it's impossible to take a picture of that somehow. Here she is divebombing after one thing or another.
3 - My latest female. Got her last week. She's soooo aggressive. Very feisty. She spent her first 2 days flaring at her reflection. She seems to have calmed down now. Here she is checking out her new tankmate: a blue apple snail.

Yes, he's a stinker. He flares at me all the time, and has just built a huge bubblenest. Macho little guy.
This is my newest. He's not much for flaring yet, but I think he's pretty young.

Sometimes.Really depends on the light. Here he is at a different angle, but mostly he looks marbled.
