| Here's my new baby boy. lol I've had this 1 Gallon tank sittin around. I used it as a hospital once but it just wasn't big enough for that purpose. I figured 1 Gallon isn't much but it sure is better than those stupid cups. The first is normal light. The second I took not realizing my flash was on. He looks good in the flash but I hate using it on my fish. Gotta be bright for those tiny eyes. | |

| My newest betta, his name is Spyder. I rescued him from Petco a couple of months ago. I wanted to take them all, yah know? So depressing there. But I settled on one and behaved
At first he was extremely skittish with the other fish in the tank (tetras, danios, and cory cats), but after a couple of weeks he is doing just fine. Even swims up to my fingers when I drop food in the tank, and loves to swim in and out of this decorative pot I have in there.  | |

Taz.. I know how the bettas can be mixed up. Remember when I thought that Precious was a male, since she has those long fins? But she has the egg spot and I know that she is a female.

| So my b/f has now caught the betta bug! We were in the petstore a couple days before Christmas getting dog food and he stopped at the bettas and made me come see this boy. I said ya, he's nice, but I have 3 and that's enough for me.
Well he talked about this betta for a couple days and so I said fine, let's go back and if he's there we'll get him. We have a couple empty tanks anyway...
So meet Ra, our little sun god. I guess I'll have to add him to my sig since he's in the same room as my 3 stinkers. | |

| I finally figured out what settings to use to take closeups of fish. These are kinda crappy pics since I can never get around to cleaning the glass (the water isn't cloudy, it's dirty glass )...but whatever. Oh and the tank looks empty now cause I took out all the plastic plants...converting it to a planted tank. I'll post pics of the redone tank once it's finished. For those of you who don't know them, the male is Fuego and the female is Cascada.
Love everyone else's pics...Alasse Buddy is stunning! And Tazmiche very handsome boys, I especially like Flame's coloring.

| Aaaaaw... Niiiiiice! 10G is great for a betta. It's heart-warming to see how many more people are giving them the space. Well done! 
Oh, by the way, meet Gaston, my new red crowntail - got him about 2 weeks ago. He's a real beauty in real life (in all modesty), but as usual, the pictures don't do him justice. His IQ, on the other hand, is really not that impressive in comparison to the ladies of the house.  Ah well, can't have it all.
Oh, and his tail is exactly the same colour as our carpet !

| Ok so I knew I wanted to eventually get a betta...eventually. I wanted to get a fancy looking one from a breeder online or something..But then today when I was at I sale at the fish store aquarium. I picked up this little guys cup and knew I had to have him..I kept telling myself no but in the middle of the guy ringing me up I told him to add the betta too..He is an all black betta with what looks like red lying underneath but when he flares you can see lil blue areas on his back fin...I allways thought I would get one with a huge tail but....he is the one..lol..everyone meet Othello
