Yes he is gorgeous isnt he...and he is now named....Buddy *L*

My son went though all 40 betta as they were taken out of the transport box (just arrived from fish farm) and Buddy was the one he really liked, he took each one over to a light so you could really see their colours...all he said was Wow Mum, this one is green...really green *L*...so green Buddy came home

I finally figured out what settings to use to take closeups of fish. These are kinda crappy pics since I can never get around to cleaning the glass (the water isn't cloudy, it's dirty glass )...but whatever. Oh and the tank looks empty now cause I took out all the plastic plants...converting it to a planted tank. I'll post pics of the redone tank once it's finished. For those of you who don't know them, the male is Fuego and the female is Cascada.

Love everyone else's pics...Alasse Buddy is stunning! And Tazmiche very handsome boys, I especially like Flame's coloring.

Fuegos lips are just too cute and funny!! Lovely!!

Flame is the truely handsome boy, even the LFS we bought him at mentioned him yesterday as he stood out to them way back in July. He is gold in the correct light!!

They've always had big eyes (Cas especially). It's also just the pic, I took the pics from a downward angle to get more light, but it also caught the tops of the eyes more and made them look bigger I guess.

EDIT: I just checked the pics again and jeez, it does look like their eyes are both popping out! Dunno why, they look normal in real life.

Egads! I haven't shared my new boy with you guys yet! He is a red-wash copper VTDT, or so I am told. The LFS just had him under "split", what a horrible name for a wonderful fish. He has the most personality out of all of my bettas in the past and shows no aggression towards the 2 other small males in the tank and my shrimp.

That's a very pretty boy, Cherrry. Very deep blue.

Would you consider housing him in a slightly bigger container? Only I find that they really thrive in 5G or above.

Well done on your find anyways. Very pretty boy!
