I know garlic juice helps heal tattered/torn fins but does it help open wounds heal as well? My female betta, Rain, was picking on a new mystery snail I just put in tonight and I guess she got real close to the snail so when the snail went back into it's shell it shaved off a little bit of skin on Rain's nose.

garlic helps build immune systems and overall great for their diet..but it doesnt help torn fins or wounds.....id look for some fish protector or stress coat+ with prestine water conditions to heal her up .

Ah okay. I must have misread somewhere. I put in some stress coat after it happened. The accident didn't even phase her. Maybe I'm just a worry wart lol

I have never tried it so I don't know. I would try something antibacterial to stop infection.
