Anyway I can not come up with a name...so I am asking for your suggestions So let's get going!!!

He is absolutely beautiful! Finding yellow bettas in the store is so rare!!

If he really has one gill larger than the other I would totally go with calling him Nemo.

He's gorgeous Shell. Wow. His one gill does looks at a little bigger than the other.
I wouldn't worry about it now. Give him sometime in his wonderful new home and keep an eye on him.

Hi! He is breathtaking. He has beautifully shaped fins. He needs a name that matches the effect he has on people. I would have to call him 'Striking' or something like that. I wouldn't worry about one gill appearing smaller than the other. I have thought this about some of my fighters before, I found once that one of my fighters had both gils the same size but would only put one out when flaring? Weird!

How many bettas does that make?
Fuelling your addiction?
My addiction is extreme! Had so many at one time that others could not keep track of who I was talking about! Of course I knew all their names and personalities off by heart, but I had everyone else confused! And I loved it!

Awww, Shell, Poupon is stunning He reminds me of the cup boy I rescued a few months back (unfortunately he didn't even last a day). I think that yellow bettas are so gorgeous!

I agree the yellows are very lovely. I had a yellow betta named Menelaus but he didn't live very long either. I was once told by a pet store clerk that yellow bettas life spans are shorter due to the fainter pigment in their colouring. I found this hard to believe, does anyone know if this is fact or fiction?

Wow, I love his face, what a cute little betta and beautiful fins & color! Sometimes, I come across bettas with flaring gills like that and haven't found it to be a problem to them.
