Hi! Plugged my camera in to post pics of my other fish when I discovered I had the wrong memory card. Having said this I have just discovered on this memory card some pictures of my fighters I once had.
I am attaching pics of a few so that when I talk about them we can put a fish pic to the name!

The first is of course my beloved darling baby, nicknamed Wonderfish, Achilles. The one I talk about all the time. He has better pictures in other places but here are some introductory photos of him.

My ACHILLES: (Please note, he ALWAYS shows off for the camera or looks straight at it) His favourite time to show off for photos was when he was in a temporary container whilst I cleaned him:

I was wondering,
when you post pictures on this site you often refer to the colours of the fighters with names such as 'multi', 'mustard gas' & 'slate'. Are there special colour names or are these just things you say? Please let me know I have no clue and would love to be able to identify my fish. (I pick my fish by their personality mainly but have an ambition to own as many different colours as I possibly can). Let me know! Chat soon!

OK, great! Thanks for that info. How do I find these things out? Is there a website or something that I can go to that says the names and gives example pictures?
'Grizzle' is a unique colour name.

My Achilles is my pride and joy, with his high IQ, he could make fishy history!
Question about Mars, my Achilles when put next to really red coloured fighters actually looked more towards maroon in colour, but I found when I photographed him that the flash made him highlight a much brighter red.
Do you have this happen when you photograph Mars or is it just my weird camera?
