I accidently ruined my Betta's bubble nest.

I accidently ruined my males bubble nest when I was removing female Beatta my tank divider fell creating a current that caused my males bubble nest WITH EGGS in it to spread apart across my tank. :S. My Bettta's just mated today.. I can see a cluster of eggs in one spot in the nest.. do u think he will fix it and move all the eggs that may be in the parts of the nest that are spread apart|?? Or what should I do ?? I know this was a stupid carless mistake I didnt notice the divider fell til after.. do u think this will cause him to abandon the rest?

Thanks for reading and helping any thoughts u may have please leave.

Hi Christy and WELCOME TO FISHLORE!

The male betta as always, looks after the nest. So even if the nest is divided, he would still look after the rest. As long as there is no other danger, like other tank mates or too strong currents, it won't be such a big burden on him. Don't worry too much, it's not your fault. Hope to see some photos soon.

Don't worry about the mistake, you've gotten that far to have eggs! You are lucky!
I had one day old hatchlings successfully, then my betta Daddy Aeolus got tired of caring for them. I think he got plum worn out from looking after the naughty babies. And he gave up! I'm sure your boy will be a good daddy and look after them anyway.
