Sorry to hear about your Mom, but the babies, you are so lucky to have them, I hope all goes well and that they grow into beautiful bettas.

Thanks for the well wishes everyone! To move the fry, I put them into a 1 gallon tupperware container about 5 days before I left. I cut holes in the lid for the air hose and the cord from the heater. I bought an adapter for my truck so that I could have the air pump and heater plugged in the whole trip. The day I left, I filled the container to the top and put the lid on. I figured with it full there would be less room for sloshing. I ended up stopping a little less than halfway there... I got some kind of stomach bug...go figure. The babies and I stayed overnight in a motel and finished up the drive the next day. To date all seem to be doing fine. I am concerned though about something I noticed before the move. I thought my babies were just shy as they have never really swam around off the bottom much. Now I am concerned that I didn't have the temp of the air right and may have damaged their labyrinth organs when they started breathing at home. Is it normal for them to stay at the bottom so much? They are over a month old now.
